Automating everything

Baku Crystal Hall is a multi-functional indoor venue arena in Baku (Azerbaijan) and it was the venue of Eurovision Song Contest 2012>

Contracted by Seele Austria GmbH, we developed the software for the automatic generation of steel details. Due to the irregular geometry there were hundreds of different steel elements that needed to be generated and prepared for production. By using a set of rules, we made a plug-in for Rhinoceros 3D that starts from simple points and automatically generates complex steel details, thus making them ready for production.
