Automating everything

The new building of Shaare Zedek Medical Center was designed by Farrow Architects and built in 2022 in Jerusalem. The interior and exterior timber structure was made by Wiehag, Austria.

We developed custom Rhino Plug-ins (C#) and Grasshopper definitions that automated the creation of the full Digital Twin for the entire interior and exterior mass timber structure, including all the steel details.

All the timber and steel fabrication data was generated automatically. We generated the assembly plans and coordinated the assembly on site.We also generated all the container packing plans in order to transport the timber from Austria to Israel.
